This policy is put in place to help us better communicate with our LMJS customers. On our website we have provided two contact links. If you wish to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding an order you wish to place or an order you have already submitted, you will need to use the webpage links. Please DO NOT attempt to email us directly. Here are the two options provided on our website:

All returns/exchanges must be made within 10 days of the ship date (from LMJS to you)
No cash/credit refunds will be made
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
LMJS is NOT responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged
A $7 Return Fee must be included with the skirt being returned.
Returning a “Ready to Ship” skirt
If you purchased a “Ready to Ship” skirt and it does not fit, you may:

  • exchange it for another item
  • receive store credit to be used at a later time
  • request a gift certificate for the purchase amount of the item(s) being returned
  • Returning a “Custom Made to Order” skirt

If you ordered a custom skirt and it does not fit you may:

Exchange it for another item
Receive store credit to be used at a later time
Request a gift certificate for the amount of the item(s) being returned.
PLEASE NOTE: If a skirt does not fit as a result of our mistake, we will pay shipping costs for returning a different skirt back to you.
If the skirt does not fit as the result of incorrect measurements being submitted by you, you will be responsible for shipping both ways and the $7 Return Fee.

Keep in mind… Our measurements are (or should be) within 1 inch of your submitted measurements.  To avoid returns due to poor fit, PLEASE be sure to measure according to our “How to measure” steps.

TURNAROUND TIME (Custom Orders only)


Our Custom Order skirts are a service we love offering. However, there is a turnaround time with these orders. The turnaround time depends on the volume of orders, which varies from month to month. We understand your desire to have your skirt quickly; however, we must honor the order in which the skirts are purchased.

Some things to consider when ordering a “Custom Order” Skirt:

We are a very small retail shop with a HIGH DEMAND product market (albeit trying to grow and keep up with demand). We need lots of prayers.
If you are in desperate need of a skirt QUICKLY, we suggest you purchase a Ready to Ship skirt.
Due to our limited staffing, and other variables involved with this type of work,  we CANNOT and DO NOT guarantee a turnaround time. We do not refund money due to a longer than expected wait.
Custom orders that require LMJS to find jeans to create the skirt may take longer depending on your fit. If your measurements or fit needs are outside the “average” need, it may take longer to find the perfect pair of jeans for your skirt.
Submitting measurements is VITAL to the process. LMJS’ attempts to contact customers who have submitted orders without measurements are currently quite time consuming. PLEASE submit your measurements as soon as possible so that we can begin your skirt.
Current Turnaround Times (subject to change without notice)
Alteration/hemming 1-2 weeks
Custom order basic skirts (short or long) 8-10 weeks
Custom order (including Denim Rose or Rockin’ Ruffle, Fun with Lace, Hi-Low) 10-12 weeks
Custom order specialty/lace or patchwork skirts 12-14 weeks.




(Unless otherwise notified, measurement terms apply only to online orders).

We MUST have  measurements ( and/or jeans ) provided BEFORE we can begin processing your order.
If you are providing pants for your skirt order we ask that you mail them within 2 weeks of placing your order (sooner is better).
If LMJS is finding jeans for your order, we ask that your measurements be submitted within 2 weeks of placing your order. We will send out reminder emails, however, if your measurements are NOT received within 2 weeks, your order will be put on hold and new orders will then be processed before yours. Once we receive your measurements, you will be given a new place in the queue (this pertains to orders where the measurements have not been submitted within 2 weeks). This means a longer turnaround time for your order.

EACH SKIRT must have SEPARATE and complete measurements submitted via the “submit measurements” form located on our website.

If you are ordering skirts for multiple people, each person must have complete measurements submitted via the website form.

If you need to provide updated measurements, please do so via the website form. DO NOT EMAIL your measurements.


Quality Guarantee


We guarantee our product to be free from defects (that are related to the recycling process) for 90 days. After 90 days, there will be a charge for any repairs at a minimum cost of $15 plus shipping.


We ship using USPS priority, online shipping. This means once we create your shipping label, you will receive an email with tracking information. Keep in mind that USPS priority shipping usually takes 2-3 for US Shipping, international shipping will take longer. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions regarding our shipping.




What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form.

When ordering (or registering) on our site, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number and/or credit card information.

Disclaimer: Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect may be used in one of the following ways: to helps us to better respond to your individual needs, to improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on information/ feedback we receive from you), to improve our customer service (the information will help us to more effectively respond to your customer requests and needs). Your information (whether public or private), will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter/submit/access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessed by those authorized with special access rights to such systems (authorized individuals are required to keep all information confidential). After a transaction is complete, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.

Do we use “cookies”?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (If you allow). This enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture/remember certain information.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We may also release your information, when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance: Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent. As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and going to the ‘Edit Profile’ page.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.
